I am a 23-year old, conservative evanglical Christian who lives in Norman, Oklahoma. I consider myself a Reformed Southern Baptist. Here are some of the things I believe:

• The Bible is the inerrant, infallible, inspired Word of God. It holds the highest authority for the Christian.
• The Trinity - three persons, one God - three persons, one substance (or essence).
• Jesus Christ was born of a virgin.
• Christ is the Son of God. He was fully God and fully man (having two natures without confusion, change, division, or separation)
• Man is depraved - sinful in every area of his life. He is born sinful and naturally hates God.
• Sin is more than a mistake. It is unrighteousness, a violation of God’s law and character and an offense to and against God.
• There is a place called Hell and it is eternal. Those who sin deserve to go to Hell for eternity.
• Jesus died on the cross to save man, as the perfect and ultimate sacrifice for sin - as a penal-substitutionary atonement for sin.
• Christ died for his own - he died for those the Father gave to him: a definite atonement.
• Repentance and Faith are necessary for Salvation.
• Those in Christ have a new nature (they are born again).
• Regeneration precedes faith.
• When someone receives Christ, they also receive the Holy Spirit. (That is not to say that the Holy Spirit is Christ!)
• Man is saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone to the glory of God alone.
